The end of August/ beginning of September marks one year since we moved into our house and began our renovation project. In honor of our anniversary, here are some before and after photos of our progress so far.

Things we changed: front door, interior door, electrical (moved light switches to the other wall), ceiling lights, flooring, trim, paint.

Things we changed: everything! The only thing we kept was the cabinets, but we rearranged/ rebuilt and painted them.

Things we changed: doors, appliances, paint, trim, clothes rack. We still need to build a countertop to go over the washer and dryer and some shelves.

Things we changed: floor, paint, ceiling fan, trim, blinds, doors. We still need to finish the closet and build a Murphy bed/ bookshelves.
We haven’t done anything with the bathrooms yet, so I won’t bother with photos. And we’ve only done minimal changes to the bedrooms (ceiling fans and window treatments).

We have done a lot of changes outside, though.
Things we changed: garage door, lighting, landscaping, fence, stairs to the backyard. We still need to replace the roof (+ add solar panels), repair and paint the stucco and trim, and landscape the backyard.
